Today, the Turkic Academy welcomed Vice President of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan Bahrom Abdukhalimov and Director of the National Center of Archaeology of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan Farhad Maksudov.
President of the Turkic Academy Shahin Mustafayev briefed the delegation on the Academy’s activities, introduced the guests to the museum exhibitions, and presented the organization’s latest publications.
During the talks, special attention was given to the contribution of Uzbek scholars to the Academy’s joint projects. Both sides acknowledged the high level of ongoing work and emphasized the importance of further strengthening scientific cooperation.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties reached a mutual understanding on the need to expand the Turkic Academy’s partnership with the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, the Archaeological Center of Tashkent, and other leading academic institutions of the country.
