Today, on February 4, the Turkic Academy was honored by an official visit from the Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye in Almaty Tuğba Alan Özdenfedakar, the Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye in Turkistan Levent Gürcan and the Third Secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in Astana Fethi Kurtiy Şahin.
During the visit, President of the Turkic Academy, Prof. Dr. Shahin Mustafayev briefed the guests on the Academy’s key areas of activity, ongoing scientific and research projects, as well as its close and systematic collaboration with Turkish scholars and scientific institutions.
The guests were also introduced to the Academy’s new publications and the exhibition at the Academy’s museum, which showcases artifacts reflecting the historical and cultural heritage of Turkic countries and peoples.
In turn, the representatives of the Turkish diplomatic mission expressed strong interest in the activities of the Turkic Academy, emphasizing its significant role in promoting scientific and cultural cooperation across the Turkic world. They also conveyed their readiness to support the Academy’s initiatives and projects aimed at strengthening academic and humanitarian ties.
