Congress on Publishing in the Turkic World Held in Ankara

The Congress on Publishing in the Turkic World was held in Ankara, organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Türkiye.

The event brought together Vice President of the Turkic Academy Bülent Bayram, as well as representatives of international organizations, scholars, writers, translators, and publishing professionals from various countries of the Turkic world.

During the congress, key issues related to the development of the publishing sector were discussed, including the promotion of the common Turkic alphabet, strengthening cooperation among publishing houses, and the implementation of modern technological solutions.

As part of the event, Bülent Bayram participated in the sessions of the Commission on the Common Alphabet and Language, where he presented the activities of the Turkic Academy in this field and highlighted ongoing projects dedicated to the implementation of the common Turkic alphabet, adopted in 2024 at the Commission meeting under the Turkic Academy in Baku.

Following the discussions, a number of important decisions were adopted aimed at fostering comprehensive cooperation across the Turkic world.
