Head of the Ludovika Center for Turkic Studies visited the Turkic Academy

On February 13, Chief Advisor and Head of the Ludovika Center for Turkic Studies (LCTS) at the Ludovika University of Public Service (Hungary) Professor László Vasa paid an official visit to the Turkic Academy.

During the visit, President of the Turkic Academy, Prof. Dr. Shahin Mustafayev provided a comprehensive overview of the Academy’s key areas of activity, its ongoing research projects, and international initiatives aimed at strengthening cooperation between the countries of the Turkic world and Hungary. Particular emphasis was placed on the Academy’s productive partnerships with Hungarian research institutions and scholars, including joint projects, conferences, and academic publications.

Professor Vasa was also introduced to the museum exhibition of the Turkic Academy, which reflects the rich historical and cultural heritage of the Turkic peoples, as well as to the Academy’s latest scholarly publications and collective monographs prepared with the participation of leading researchers from member states and partner institutions. In addition, he was presented with the library of the distinguished Hungarian Turkologist István Kongur Mandoki, preserved at the Turkic Academy, who made a significant contribution to the development of Turkology and to strengthening academic ties between Hungary and the Turkic world.

In turn, Professor Vasa expressed sincere interest in the activities of the Turkic Academy and commended the high academic standards of its projects. He emphasized his openness to further developing academic dialogue and expanding cooperation in research and joint international initiatives.
