Today, December 10, the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted the opening ceremony of a photo exhibition organized by the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Kazakhstan, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
The event was attended by Vice Presidents of the Turkic Academy, Askhat Kessikbayev and Bülent Bayram, as well as Academy experts Farda Asadov, Timur Kozyrev, Nurbolat Bogenbayev, Nurdin Useev, and Dinmukhammed Ametbek.
Welcoming remarks were delivered by Director of the National Museum of Kazakhstan Berik Abdygali, and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Kazakhstan Han Chunlin. The ceremony also saw participation from ambassadors, representatives of public organizations, and members of the academic community.
The photo exhibition highlights the cultural and historical heritage of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. The event served as a platform to strengthen friendship and foster cultural cooperation between the peoples of Kazakhstan and China.
