Representatives of the Turkic Academy participated in an online meeting organized by the Directorate General of Primary Education under the Ministry of National Education of Türkiye.
During the meeting, information was presented on the work of the commission established in 2023 under the coordination of the Turkic Academy, as well as the Common Turkic Alphabet consisting of 34 letters, approved in September 2024. In addition, experimental publications based on the Common Turkic Alphabet were introduced, including Abay’s Words of Edification in Kazakh and Ch. Aitmatov’s White Ship in Kyrgyz, released on the initiative of the Academy in 2025.
Representatives of the Ministry of National Education of Türkiye shared their plans and proposals for the further implementation of work in this area.
Both sides agreed to continue their cooperation and jointly implement projects aimed at promoting and implementing the Common Turkic Alphabet.
