Today, September 21, in Ankara, President of the Turkic Academy, Prof. Dr. Şahin Mustafayev met with President of the Turkish Academy of Sciences (TÜBA), Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Şeker.
During the meeting, Mustafayev briefed his counterpart on the activities of the Turkic Academy, its main areas of research and ongoing projects, and highlighted the importance of further developing scientific cooperation between the two academies.
The sides also discussed the Traditional Summer School of Turkology, which has been jointly organized for several years by the Turkic Academy, TÜBA and leading universities of the Turkic world. The school brings together young researchers from different countries, providing them with opportunities to work with leading scholars, participate in lectures and discussions, and establish professional contacts. The sides emphasized the importance of continuing this work and further developing the school’s programme.
Muzaffer Şeker highlighted the significance of the established cooperation and expressed his readiness to further strengthen collaboration between TÜBA and the Turkic Academy.
