Today, September 21, in Ankara, President of the Turkic Academy, Prof. Dr. Şahin Mustafayev, met with Kürşad Zorlu, Deputy Chairman of the Justice and Development Party (AK Parti), Chairman for Relations with Turkic Countries, and Member of Parliament for Ankara.
During the meeting, Mustafayev briefed Zorlu on the activities of the Turkic Academy, its main areas of research, and projects carried out within the framework of cooperation among Turkic countries.
Kürşad Zorlu highlighted the importance of the Turkic Academy’s work in strengthening scientific ties among Turkic countries.
The sides expressed their interest in further cooperation and in advancing new initiatives, including those related to the Common Turkic Alphabet and the study of the shared history of the Turkic peoples.
At the end of the meeting, Şahin Mustafayev and Kürşad Zorlu exchanged commemorative gifts as a gesture of mutual respect.
