Today, September 22, in Ankara, President of the Turkic Academy, Prof. Dr. Şahin Mustafayev, met with Prof. Dr. M. Öcal Oğuz, Chairman of the Turkish National Commission for UNESCO.
During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Şahin Mustafayev presented the Turkic Academy’s main areas of activity, its scientific projects, and its work on the study of the shared historical and cultural heritage of the Turkic peoples.
Prof. Dr. M. Öcal Oğuz emphasized the importance of scientific cooperation in researching the historical and cultural heritage of the Turkic peoples and expressed interest in further developing cooperation with the Turkic Academy.
